Ladies' Auxiliary

The SON Valley Ladies Auxililary was organized October 18, 2003 when twenty ladies met for the membership coffee at Summertree Clubhouse, Madison. Since then, the membership has grown to fifty three. Annual membership dues are $25.00. Presently the year runs from October Membership Coffee to the following October. The group meets quarterly, the THIRD SATURDAY at 10:00 A.M., ...January, April, July & October. Presently we are meeting in the Christian Life Center of FBC, Jackson, Ms.

Mission Statement:

“SON Valley ladies auxiliary is a group of Christian ladies who volunteer their time and talents in support of the Ministry of SON Valley, a home for adults with Mental Retardation.”

The auxiliary is a vital arm in assisting in the development of SON Valley.

Projects:

5,000 piece Newsletter Mail-out, quarterly Feeding of volunteer construction workers at SV site. Use and promote Kroger cards which provide 5% of all groceries and gasoline purchased at Kroger using the gift card. Contact churches about Father’s Day Offering Day Care events for special people – crafts, outings, etc. Promote Birdies for Charities – Southern Farm Bureau Golf Classic Miscellaneous projects – accumulating donations of furniture, materials, etc.
